About the Event

Think beyond playing ball, jogging and agility.... here's a workshop jam packed with low impact tasks for your pooch that are fun, safe and improve their mobility.

Delivered by diploma qualified canine myofunctional therapist Christina Schaumann, this session will show you how "less is more". The exercises qualify for all dogs regardless of their size, breed or age. We will teach you simple but effective physical exercises that you can do at home with no or little equipment to improve your dog's joint stability, core strength, range of motion, heart health, confidence and reduce pain.

These activities are by far healthier than running and jumping and benefit dogs that want to become fit, stay active and be strong to prevent injuries or age related diseases. Also suitable for dogs that are healing from injury or post operation recovery.

This workshop will have a practical component so you can see first hand how to exercise your dog in a safer and more species-appropriate way.

Please register early if you would like to be one of the four participants that can bring their dog for the practical part of this session.

If you want to ensure your dog gets appropriate exercise without the risk of mental and physical fatigue, muscle strains, injury or over-burdening their body, then this workshop with be a game changer for you and your dog.

Our workshops are designed for dog owners, volunteers in animal rescue groups and dog lovers in general. We aim to provide interesting, thought provoking, interactive and mostly fun sessions in a relaxed, friendly and casual atmosphere. We keep the number of participants low to ensure time for questions and discussions.

If you love your dog then this is for you!

Please don't bring your dog to this workshop unless you have registered (only four spaces for dogs) with us and have received confirmation from us in regards to bringing your dog.

Limited spaces available, please purchase your ticket to secure your seat

$15 per person, loyalty program applies: you can attend workshops individually and pick which ever you want to participate in throughout 2020. Pick four sessions, get one free or pay for eight and get two free.
